Tips for readying your house if you're thinking of selling:
- Evaluate the appeal of you home.
- Determine your home's price by comparing it to other homes in your area.
- Make necessary repairs before placing your home on the market to expedite the sale once you receive an offer.
- Keep your home in "show" order. A neat, although occupied home, makes the best impression on prospective homebuyers.
- If you are in need of selling quickly, be prepared to make concessions when an offer is made.
- Be patient. In this business, there are often unforeseen problems that turn up during the close of the sale. Nine times out of ten, they are promptly rectified by me working in concert with your escrow company.
